People who do cooking videos really need to take heed of what you do, or rather what you don’t do. Get on with the recipe. No talking. No prepping. No BS. Just cook and present. If we miss something, we can rewind and watch again. Love how you present your new recipes. Thank you! ❤

@@joeb4142 yes, I often have to do that, but then total silence is my whole life as I live alone. I really love videos where the sounds are just the cooking and whisking and sizzling. These are comforting sounds, but loud dance music is so painful when combined with the human voice, that some of us have to stop watching, which is a shame. I love to learn new things too, and other people have interesting things to teach us, that maybe we hadn’t thought of. If I never hear the sound of humans talking, it gets quite lonely and I don’t get to embrace new stuff. Thanks for the suggestion though x

This is so peaceful. I just came home from a funeral and saw this. It just really, really hit the spot... the sound of that grease hitting the skillet... the gentle ASMR of the spatula tossing the egg... Fry some chopped Onion (200g) in some oil, add 1 tbsp of garlic and 1 tbsp of ginger once the onion is golden, add some chopped chilli peppers (optional), 1 tbsp of cumin, ground coriander, paprika and 1 tsp of turmeric; add a little water water to the whole mix and keep stirring; add 3 tomatoes (blended or a can of passata); add seasoning and cook in low heat for 5 mins. Now, add 1 cup of cooked/canned Chickpeas, 1 cup of water and 60g of yogurt to a blender and blend it. Add that to the sauce in the pot that has been cooking. Add another cup of cooked/canned chickpeas to the sauce and cook it for another few minutes. Add some fresh coriander (about 1/4 cup). Melt 30g of butter is a separate pan, add a little paprika or chilli powder if you like it spicy and stir. Drizzle that on top of the previously cooked sauce and chickpeas and decorate it with some more fresh coriander. Serve it with some white Basmati rice or simple white rice or alternatively, with some mash potato. You're welcome

No but the technique of making a tomatoes based curry is very similar, so I imagine the original comment was just using a familiar name @LaTremenda2000

I think it's because of the cumin. I am not too fond of it but would leave that out from this recipe. I also don't like yoghurt in soups but that's just me lol.

Wow, using chickpea blend to thicken the sauce was the awesome idea. I sometimes make this sidh but will cook with this technique. Thanks. I love your channel and follow almost all recipes. Everything is a always soooooo prefect. Love from Iran.

Really loved this recipe, it's probably better than mine which has more of an Italian flair to it with the addition of pasta. I will definitely try your recipe as I prefer chickpeas as more of a soup. For anyone reading this comment, please please please use olive oil instead of vegetable oil wherever possible as it is much healthier. I understand if your deep frying etc, but on dishes like this make the swap to olive oil.

@@petercalabro6395 la ragione è... the reason is that your flattery is definitely disproportioned and sounds as the usual pathetic Italian xenophilia. We - Italian - have many more refined receipts of chickpeas and no one - at least not form center and northen Italy - of them are such a trivial mix of every spiced thing you find in your kitchen that completely covers the taste of the main ingredients. A receipt is something whose ingredients work together for giving a precise taste not a casual mix of everything vulgarly stricks for its intensity. yougourt... tomato ... have you ever cooked chickpeas as a ragu for instance? that's a consistent and tasty way of cooking them

Great recipe. Looks delicious. We would recommend fresh boiled chick peas,, not canned. It's preboiled, means many of the nutrients have degenerated and with preservatives added, which are not so good for health. Also, when cooking food products with protein, such as peas, milk, meat, fish, eggs, etc. use only one at a time. The human digestive system has different ways to process protein depending on the food product, particularly dairy products. So, in this case, only chick peas is enough. Dairy products should be consumed alone, never mixed. These suggestions stem from the Ayurvedic approach to health.
