I think that the issue of citizenship needs to be revisited and clarified more and more. For example, there's a lot of foreign nationals legal and illegal who are procreating children in South Africa. These people are all loyal to their own different countries. Second, there are many Zimbabwean women who cross the borders for the purpose of giving birth in our country, South Africa's hospital s. When they are done, they return to Zimbabwe. Can we say that all the foreign national children who are born in South Africa are South African citizens and must be provided with documents for citizenships? No! Ngeke! According to me, there's a difference between being a South African, original South African and a foreign national who is having a South African citizenship. That difference deters foreign nationals with South African citizenship from participating in our social activities. There's a lot that needs to be clarified legally to stop THESE foreign nationals from taking our country and its citizens for granted.

@@geniuschando7728 Well, to ask me whether I read the Constitution before I posted my view helps me with nothing because I don't go and read any book before I comment on any issue. The only thing you have to do is to tell me what the Constitution is saying about this. I say there's a difference between an original citizen of South Africa and a foreign national who holds a South African citizenship. The provision of the Constitution that South Africa belongs to all that lives in it doesn't not need to be interpreted too widely. The question should be, what did this mean at the time it was legislated? The answer thereto must be restricted. It cannot be that every Jack and Jill born in South Africa is a South African citizen and qualifies for citizenship in the country. That would be ridiculous. I assume that you refer to this clause when you ask me if I read the Constitution before I posted my comment.
