WOW…I heard this song on TikTok just now. Took me back to my very poor childhood days, now I’m listening to this song in my $90k Tesla here in beautiful Seattle . Never underestimate your future.

I woke up this morning with this Obey's great inspirational song & remembered my sweet childhood in Ajegunle. May God continue to bless Obey & grant him excellent health! Please how did Nigeria get to where we're today & who did we offend?

The best Yoruba Juju music composer, bar none. Continue to wax on, Commander. You and KSA will both go down in history as the best and greatest of all time. The grace and blessings you've been endowed with are so. immense, that copy cats have never been able to rise to this level since you came on the scene all those years ago. Bless you Pastor Ebenezer Remi Fabiyi.

Indeed & in my candid opinion rating, this particular record is one in particular, among others in which Oke Aminu made use of his sonorous & octave voice. Thereby making me to judge this record as the most outstanding & best of Baba Obey's artistic work. May God continue to bless him and God continue to rest the soul of Oke Aminu.

You are right. Oke Aminu was still alive when this album was waxed. His voice was the thin voice in the ire akari track. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

Yes! Oke Aminu of blessed memory. He died in 1974, after the release of "Ketekete" in 1973. This record, indeed recorded a very huge sale, such that Baba Obey rewarded each of his band boys with a Suzuki motorcycle. Unfortunately, the octave voiced Oke Aminu had a ghastly accident with his own along Itire/Lawanson road, near the point where Itire/Lawanson road & Mushin/Itire road interject. It was a dawn accident. I happen to be an eyewitness to unfortunate incident, because I lived at Ashimowu Bakare Street, a nearby street to the scene of the accident.

Yes. That was Oke Aminu. He died in a ghastly motorcycle accident in 1972. It was a terrible loss for the group and we the diehard fans of the chief at the time. May his soul rest in peace.
