I love this song and know all the words. I was born in London and don't speak yoruba but as a child I felt it was an awesome song. If a child can hear it. Chief Ebenezer Obey is doing a very good job. Haha

Put my mind at rest, harken to the voice of my supplication. Don’t let me falter under any circumstances. Thank you very much.

This is one of my favorite Obey song. It's just well composed and moves both the body and soul simultaneously.

Eyin ni e wo means to go back to our past event so that we can learn fast from there, so if we can do that then we are going to achieve success.

I don't understand, 'Eyin ni e wo, ko se ni to mo la'. Why do we look back? I thought we can't change the past so we have to look forward or maybe I don't understand the Yoruba there.

Yoruba adage says “bi omode ba subu, yoo wo iwaju; but bi agbada subu, yoo wo eyin” that is experience. I think the above illustration answers your question sir?

You have to look back so as not to repeat past mistakes
