I worked in Nkayi in 2022. Chief Dakamela is true leadership. As a civil servant I always knew working with him brought a lot of positives. He is very humble and welcoming. Had lots of interesting and positive conversations with him and leant a lot.

Chief Dakamela's economic development program reminds me of the Chief Leruo Molotlegi of the Bafokeng in the Rustenburg province of South Africa who sent his warriors to work in the gold mines, collated their income and used the funds to buy back their ancestral lands from the colonizers. Platinum was then discovered on the lands and today the Royal Bafokeng Nation is the wealthiest tribe in Africa. The have an investment vehicle called Royal Bafokeng Holdings holds the interests of the tribe for the benefit of its people. I know Chief Dakamela will do this and more. Thank you for having this luminary on the show Trevor & company. Would you please get Mr. JR Goddard on the show. He is another truly great Ndebele man.
