I wonder how many of these people know the Constitution they swore to abide by and know that the citizens have rights they must respect. Also, do they know the distinct line they should never cross and use all means to de-escalate, and never allow their emotions to dictate their actions. The first step in a good relationship with the public is for police knowing when they are out of line and turning and walking away. If they are unable to do that, they should never be allowed to wear a badge and carry a gun. "To Protect and Serve" suppose to mean something to the public.
