@@brocktoon8 Instead of telling the jewish population to be prideful the rabbi should teach the jews to be humble, and to go out with the rest of the world and rally with them for humanity. The world is not rallying for muslims. They've separated that idea from the idea that it's real human beings being slaughtered in gaza and the west bank today. The world never cared for muslims either, but they've made it about humanity, not religion. If you read the verses that follow, the people did 'turn their backs', they mocked their prophet and refused to enter due to fear of the people already living there. So the land was forbidden for them for 40 years. That was the situation for those people at that time. God will not give a land to a people forever just because of their race regardless of how corrupt they are? In the end, God will give the land to those who obey him and uphold his laws. Jews have no right to the land both religiously and historically.
