"Decapitated Bass", now that made me laugh. The decapitated bass is Fami's signature Bacchus WOODLINE5AC-HL, its so freaking cool and I want it. I havent stopped listening to this song since it released and somehow it gets better with every replay.

The scales you like are “Phrygian Dominant”….I learned that one of the 8 trillion times I’ve played it. Fami is the greatest find since the Staffordshire Hoard…she’s just the right level in the mix and she’s staying there I reckon. Lovebites, greatest band ever.

Yes, now they are a bit more 'brutal' & technically in musicianship. Level up. Shredd longer, bass running fill the whole song, more bell in drum fills. Vocal insanely high notes. The MV's very dramatic, dark light contrasts, creative and clearly beautiful ladies..hahaha. It's a luxury investment. I love Lovebites 😍. Great detail reaction friend, 👍👍🤘🤘

Great video. I really enjoyed your commentary. And I fully agree that Asami has a distinct voice, whether you like it or not. And she's getting better and better. In fact they all seem to have stepped up their game once again just like with every prior release. Following Miho's departure I really wasn't sure about Lovebites's future, but boy did they ever bounce back. Very excited for the album.

Great reaction and commentary. We've sometimes joked around about Lovebites not being human, but this sort of thing makes you really wonder. They were already seemingly at the limit of what is possible with actual instruments, and now they have leveled up.

I've been watching+listening this song for a year (dec 23rd 2022 - till jan 2nd 2023) and i still can't get enough. This one was their great comeback from hiatus period. Fami the new bassist added a new color, style, tone, energy, and ofcourse, HOPE. Everyone in the band has leveled up, they're getting better and better!

Fami, making her presence felt. When you listen several times, she has different bass patterns through the guitar solos. Miho, will always be my favourite as she and Haruna formed Lovebites but unless this track is a 'one off' Fami's bass playing is just wonderful and she makes a great addition to Lovebites. It is your channel, so never apologise for pausing. Believe me there are plenty of head nods, like and subscribe reactions to Lovebites out there in KZbin land.

In this song, Lovebites has 3 leads. It's rare that a bassist can join two virtuoso lead guitarists and be just like them. All 3 are together in the mix, and the solo run is the best one I've ever heard. This song is spectacular.

I'm still not used to seeing you without a mask. Anyway, Fami's headless bass is the signature Bacchus model she's been playing for a while now. My first association with headless guitars and basses is ZZ Top. I'm glad Fami is allowed to be herself, though I wasn't too worried since I never thought the other ladies or the record label would force her to be a Miho clone.
