Jimmy was a tragic figure. I felt terribly sorry for him. He never got his dad's approval, and he had no meaning, no purpose in his life beyond making wealth. No love, no friends no spiritual life. And YOU dear man, I love that like Ren, you are an empath. It's hard to feel others pain so keenly, but it is beautiful too. As Ren would say, "be well within yourself !"

trooper. was a fantastic reaction. there was one other reactor i saw catch the rain reference, but it blew me away because they caught "turns a saint into a sinner, a child into a killer, with his finger on the trigger of the money game. rain rain rain rain". its like this entire song was expounding on that single section of MG1. And now ill never listen to MG1 the same way again.

Welcome to being a Renegade....been listening for months...it all starts with Hi Ren then down the rabbit hole. I'm a poet and musician and did I say I'm 71 years old? Ren touches my soul...his lyrics...what can I say. I talk nonstop to my therapist about Ren. He is an exceptional artist and I never understand the one's who don't get him. They are drifting out of my circle...one by one. I want his vinyl...soon...still have speakers up to my chin. Lost my daughter and husband recently. They would have loved Ren. Thank you for your genuine and heartfelt reaction. Money Game Part 3 is, in my opinion, Ren’s best work to date, and the bar he previously set was already incredibly high to begin with. It is an amazing and thought-provoking piece of performance art. At the beginning of Jimmy’s life, “one year old and his first words were’ mine, mine, gimme’; two years, old he was walking; three years old, walking quickly; four years old he was running around the pavement of his city. Then, “40 years old, and he cursed the words ‘mine, mine, gimme’; 41, he wasn’t walking; 42, not walking quickly; 43, never running around the pavement of his city.” ROM (@ROMsquad) during their reaction pointed out the irony that Jimmy was focused on chasing wealth and fame only to lose his ability to run as a result.

Ren wrote all of the music for this including the orchestral parts. He said he practiced quite a bit to get the piano intro right. He also said that this isn't precisely a one take, it has a single cut in it, but it had to due to some logistics and time constraints. He explained it all in his Twitch live stream after the video dropped. He's really proud of this one, and should be. It's another great example of Ren's pure musical ARTISTRY. The greatest sculptures in history were created slowly, persistently, over a long period of time, one small chip at a time. Chip, chip, chipping away. Ren's illness is the marble, his musical artistry is the chisel...and look at the masterpieces he's now created. A modern day musical Michaelangelo forged through fire....and the world is better for it.

When the car beeped and you told it to shut up, then paused... and appologized to the car. That is why I come back here 😊. You dont hold back your emotions. But you always try to express them in a kind and gentle manner. This video definitely had me frazzled while watching it and I might have lashed out at a random car horn if it interupted me also 😂 but it was the pause and the appology after is what really sets you apart as a kindhearted person. This video was and still is a hard one for me to get through. I dont like guns and when he gets to the end and is casually waving the gun around I have a very visceral reaction to that. And yeah... the waterworks start about half way through the music video for me also. We come here because we love Ren, but thats not all we love Chief. We are all troopers 😼 Never apologize for a long reaction to Ren. I bet many people didn’t think he could top Hi Ren, but MG3 is incredible! It could easily be a theatrical production. No one tells a story quite like Ren. I love that he doesn’t just villianize Jimmy … Ren moves us to feel compassion for him. Generational trauma impacts people of all socio-economic levels. But it’s a cautionary tale for all of us. It’s too easy to get swept up in the various aspects of the money game.
