Welcome to Heavy Metal History. Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band whos songs are mostly based on history (there first album is not). They choose no sides or political stances. they have a history channel on you tube that tells the history about each song. Other songs to listen to would be 40:1 (live the crowd is HUGE, its in Poland about a polish battle) anything from the Great War album (literally a album about WWI) and En livstid i krig (live in Sweden, they sing in Swedish so put on subtitles). enjoy you will learn more history listing to them then you ever did in school!

No Drums: The sounds are .50 cal Machine gun, 9mm Pistol, and a bayonet into human flesh - hence the intro. Try Sabaton History Channel for history story behind the songs they sing.

Sabaton got so many very, very good songs. Screaming Eagles, Angels Calling ( that one with Apocalyptica), Bismarck, Inmate 4859, Ghost in the Trenches, Attack of the Dead...., but that one I really recommend is En livstid i Krig. For that one you could enable caption if you don't understand swedish.

I don't know if the video is by Sabaton, but most if not all Sabaton videos have subtitles. Might be easier to catch all the lyrics. Just as a tip, if you decide to listen to more of them A few recommendations, while we're at the topic of WW1: The Red Baron, The Attack of The Dead Men, Fields of Verdun, A Ghost in the Trenches, The Future of Warfare and The End of the War to End All Wars. And many more, but those are already more than enough lol

MMmm clips from War Thunder Victory is ours trailer and Hacksaw Ridge can mislead people since those two are set in ww2 not ww1
