This song is so beautiful yet devastating at the same time. That buxzing sound at the end kind of starts off again at the beginning of Chokehold.

First things first, Happy New Year to you and your family. I believe that everything that Sleep Token does is intentional, so when you end an album with a song that contains the line "To swallow my desire and choke on it" and start the next album with a song called Chokehold there is a connection. The very end of Missing Limbs also has a similarity to the very start of Chokehold, too! Great reaction. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

It's fair to admit that on first hearing, this song broke me, like so many Sleep Token tracks do. It's that last line at the end, "And I live like I've got missing limbs for you" when you realise what it's all about - *that's* the gut-punch. But it's a song that's so, so beautiful in its simplicity and using just acoustic guitar, piano and voice to portray the emotions and deliver a message, as well as being the last track on Tomb. As you said in an earlier video, I would want to just give Vessel a 20-minute hug too. A hug that I would hope could put all the broken bits back together, even for only a few minutes. That feels like the most important thing to do, which in turn gives us a further...I want to say "dilemma", but that's not the word I mean, maybe quandry - in that if he wasn't the beautiful and broken person that he is, we wouldn't have these gorgeous songs to talk about, absolutely weep buckets to and hope for healing to would we? Because if you don't live through the experiences how can you even hope to tell someone in such a convincing way what it is that you've been/are going through? And I think that for so many people that have had these or similar experiences, you don't just hear the songs, you absorb the words and meanings and maybe become them a little bit, using them as part of the healing process. I could be wrong, but I think the people that say that they don't like Sleep Token are the ones that haven't lived any of the experiences that Vessel sings about. To be able to make your own pain into such a profound art form is such a gift. Apologies if this comment waffles on too much, but I felt like I had to get it all out. I'm not some weird person looking for meanings that aren't there (well, maybe I'm a *bit* weird! 🙃), but "Missing Limbs" is such a beautiful track - reading back over my comment made me sound strange to ME and I wrote it! But I'm going to leave it unedited because my words might resonate with other readers/commentors too.

This song always gives me tears. I've felt way too much like this, when you are not whole. It is even worse when your love is not fulfilled, and you just linger there on that melancholic vibe, and the other do not even know what storms are playing inside you. I was there too many times. It is just heartwrenching. Vessel really knows how to express those feelings. He must be a very weathered soul. I would give him a huge and long bear hug too. And to you too! We love you, my man!!!

This has become one of my favorite songs of theirs. It reminds me of my husband that passed away 10yrs ago. That's probably weird to say but it does. I think maybe it's because I don't feel like a whole person since he died. So much of who I am/was is tied up with him, so when I lost him, I lost me too.

I mean, you definitely can have eager apprehension. Apprehension usually refers to something unfavorable, but it can just mean anticipation in general. Also, you can fear something and want it at the same time. There's also the fact that apprehension also just means perception or understanding, or even seizing something.
