I’ll miss him here in Boden I’m New Year’s Eve as my partner booked us into Pite Havsbad for New Year. The day after it was announced that my favourite singer will come home and perform 😭. I hope someone record it . But I have seen him twice this year (The Majestica concert was so good), he is such a friendly person when you meet him. I hope you all get a lovely time on New Year’s Eve.

Some dialects of Swedish are more sing-songy than others, but they all have the pitch accent so they all have a sliver of it. I might be bias, but if there exists a song that is sung both in Swedish and in English (like some of Sabatons and ABBAs songs for instance), I always prefer the Swedish one. If you like ABBA I could recommend the Swedish version of Fernando.

I pray he stays. That so many people f ind out about him that he becomes the next Pavarotti. I want so much to see him rise that high and so well loved. I have faith this is gonna happen. Like....I'm a Swede, i love Sabaton, i love Nightwish, i love Tommy and i love everyone in both of those bands and sometimes i get to deep in to it all..at the point of wondering what English native spekers think about the way they pronunciate things, what they think about me as a Swede pronounce things, what all of us think about each other. A Swedish friend explained to me that Swedish is like English spoken like German but the singing style of speaking is not a universal feature and worse still it isn't taught in Swedish classes in Sweden!! I however am weird as I worked in Finland and learnt Finnish so in Helsinki which is a bilingual town I could understand the Finnish signs but struggled with the Swedish versions LOL And Finns learn Swedish in school but their accent doesn't have the sing song melody of some Swedes either.
