I just wanted to say that I have much respect for Chief Standing Bear and many others like him. He was a wise Chief and had much wisdom to pass onto to the generations to come. It's ashame that many people then didn't understand or even try to understand the ways of the Native American people. I am not Native American nor do I claim to be. However, since I was a young boy I have always felt connected to Native America and the Native American poeple.
