Things in Israel and around the world could have been a whole lot worse. The death and destruction could have been catastrophic in Israel were it not for a strong belief in fighting for the land of Israel and the Jewish people, and by extension, Christians as well. Yes, people -- the IDF, the IAF, friends of Israel, people with a commitment to dispel lies, twisted facts and false narratives, and people who can think critically and discern fact from fiction -- are integral to success, but there were many occasions when something extra helped preserve life and minimize damage. Was it God's hand? Was it just a happy turn of circumstance? Whatever it was, it was NOT clutching at religious straws.
