Yea, the scene pops out of nowhere, and you just feel that urge to continue along with it, and it writes itself.. By the end, the more time passes the more the story refines itself, and eventually you come to the point you cant contain it anymore, you have to put it on papper. The scenes pull together like its a puzzle, and make one big picture. Darn, maybe is hould write my own book. But gotta wait on my story to get unique enough, before i reap it.

"He doesn't follow the hero's journey." - Er, yes he does. Have you seen Jon's storyline?

As of the latest book, Jon is dead, so... there’s that. He will likely come back, but GRRM only knows.

Hopefully he stays dead. I wouldn't mind a Jon chapter in Ghost's body

Your favorite character and the heroes are always at risk, and you can lose them, while the most evil and villain characters can win in the end..... The show ending: The heroes alive: Jon Sansa Arya Bran Tyrion Sam The villains alive: None - all dead. Even the nightking killed off so easy. And the ending is even more fairytale like with the death of the evil queens, and then a Tyrion speech about Bran being the best of stories and rising from a cripple to be all knowing. You can hear the violins play. And then to finish it off, the one writer that gave so much criticism to Tolkien, ends his own story with a Sam character finishing a book of the same title as the story. And the broken Jon (Frodo) being so broken, that he marches off from the known world, like Frodo going with the elves. Fuck off! The good won big time. The Starks rule both south and north. Again Tolkien like ending, with the crowning of (in the fans eyes) the rightful rulers. What went wrong???
