As an Eagles fan, I kinda figured that the Panthers would take us to the wire. They played over their skillset and played hard against teams they were projected to be decimated by. Yes their 3-10 but they definitely play with heart this time (At least at this point of the season)

As a fellow Eagles fan I felt the same way. I was pretty sure we were going to win but had a feeling that the score would be within one touchdown. The Panthers may not be a great team but they are better than their 3-10 record indicates. If they get a few more pieces they could be a threat in the south next season.

Every Sunday my family and I sit upstairs and watch Redzone all day, it is great and very fun bonding time. This week however my dad who is a life long bears fan decided he wanted to watch only the bears game during the afternoon window... the pure misery having to sit and watch that awful awful game while there was a shootout bills/rams game happening at the same time... just pain, pain for him as the bears let him down again and pain for the rest of us who arent bears fans being forced to watch it.

Colts win that the Broncos odds to make the playoffs drop to like 30% or something. Oh... and the Broncos have by far the toughest remaining schedule of the three.

Darnold was going to be the starter from day 1, it was made very clear by KOC, but nobody paid attention to that. Also, the Vikings have the 4th best point differential, so no they haven’t been winning like the Chiefs all season either. Everyone is allowed to win close games here and there, except the Vikings 🙄

A: How much are the Vikings willing to pay Darnold? You wanna take advantage of having a QB on a rookie deal by using the extra cap space to build around him. Paying Darnold for only a few years max to play the "vet QB role" doesn't make much sense. B: Is Darnold gonna wanna stay in Minnesota for objectively less pay than he'd get somewhere else? There's plenty of QB hungry teams that will pay a lot more than the Vikings to be a guaranteed starter with no worries about developing his replacement. C: Darnold is only 27, it's not like he's a 35 year old journeyman with only a handful of years left. He's right in his prime and you gotta think he believes he can and will be a long term starter for another franchise. Unless Sam Darnold takes this team to the super bowl, I don't see any scenario where they keep him and McCarthy.

as a vikings fan i went into this season with a floor and a ceiling, the floor of this team was going to be 4-5 wins, and the ceiling was 13 wins. but i honestly didnt see ANY in between. there was never a thought of an 8 win season. this is basically the same team on offense that won 13 games in 2022 with the worst DC in football. so with our improved defense and brian flores the only thing that gave me pause was sam darnold. was he going to be the Jets version? or under KOC would he play to his full potential. its not a shock to anyone who realized last years team didnt reflect how good a team we actually had that this years vikings are THIS good. this season is only a surprise to everyone outside of MN who looked at last year and who saw us lose to the giants in the playoffs and concluded the team was fraudulent instead of seeing how much that defense held us back in 2022 and how much it improved over the last 2 offseasons. the math is pretty simple that we would be a good to great team this year

As a chargers fan to charger it we got be up by 10 or more. I will say losing a game where we look like ass but are still in it all game to then lose by a miss field goal or defensive players just stop tackling. With this team its very hard to that because even though its a bunch of dude Harbaugh has them fighting. To me a real charger it is when we are going into half and our destroying the other team but for some reason as a fan you feel uneasy. AS if the lead you just got had made given to you. like god wanted us to do so well and then have the other team comeback and unforeseen way. The jags game is prime example 4 ints in one half is crazy you know what be more crazy if the team that got those picks lost. Basically any time we are winning and aren't playing well. In my mind every game is winnable and I think teams have always taken us lightly. To me we cant charger a well played game from both teams.

Man, you really hate the Vikings. You hate them as much as most Vikings hate the Packers. Haha. From MN here and of course a Vikings fan, but I’ve never really had a problem with the Packers. They are probably my 2nd favorite team. Yeah, weird I know. I respect/like the fact the city owns the team. My real problem was going to undergrad in WI and dealing with the fans talking out of their asses about the Vikings. And, there are always annoying Packer fans over here in MN that seem to love to be super annoying and talk shit. That is my real problem. Packer fans like to put the knife in and twist it. To me the rivalry is like the MN/WI rivalry. We talk crap about each other, but when it comes down to it, WI is like MN if MN had more bars and more drunk people.
