The Chiefs have had toughest schedule in the league by far and the only - 0.500 teams they played were the Bengals who are a potential playoff team and the Saints who were hot before they collapse and the Raiders who they have to play in the division. Then add the SB rematch with the 49ers, the Bills, Ravens and Tampa Bay. Plus they still have to play the Steelers and play on every weekday besides Tuesday. Everybody knew going in this was going to be a GAUNTLET and they’re 9-0 Not dominating at all😂

In a way, Seattle might’ve not had too much of a choice-when the team is playing well, QB value remains sky high, and the QB has a Super Bowl win under his belt-a team’s leverage over him is weak. That’s likely why they traded him. The team is struggling, but clawing back those privileges is causing drama, so the Seahawks trade him away-let another team give him the privileges he wants so badly. His time in Denver was likely very humbling (perhaps even traumatizing). Now that he’s in a new environment, perhaps Pittsburgh has a stricter team structure, Russ might be trying to regain that old form and rhythm-without the drama.

There "best" is running it up on lesser teams. Chiefs are a possession offense team. There is no running it up. They have been up 2 possessions a number of times and they milk the clock on both offense and defense. This allows the losing team to get within one score after consuming 5+ minutes then grinding it until victory formation time.

Comparing the Lions to the Chiefs who have had 3 highly productive offensive weapons on IR for majority of the season is a little disingenuous. So when Rex says, "The Chiefs at their best aren't better than the Lions at the their best" isn't the flex he thinks it is. The Chiefs, who are playing at about 40% at least on the offensive side of the ball, have the best record in the NFL and with a win against Buffalo basically secure home field advantage for the playoffs. That is absolutely terrifying and for some reason gets overlooked.

This Chiefs team reminds me of the 2016 Golden State Warriors. They are coached very well, have great players on both sides of the ball, and they look bored out of their minds. Problem comes in when they have to play a team like the Lions, or Eagles, or another scrub team trying to prove themselves. Offense can win you games during the regular season but when all the teams you are playing are good its the defense that makes the difference and KC defense is considerably better than Baltimore and Buffalo, the two teams to fear for KC this year. The other teams I fear would be Cincy, who doesn't have a great defense but matches up well against us and strangely Chargers who has a really good defense. Cincy I don't see making playoffs. They will be close but I think they will just miss. Why they let Mixon go is beyond me. Now they have no real run game and team are teeing off on Burrow.

GAWD, I've been hoping Steelers fans' stupidity affected the owner's decision to fire TM. The issue with his coaching is poor quarterback play. Now, he has a quarterback who is good enough to do more than what was before Big Ben's reign.
