going to college OT rules is like shootouts deciding playoff games in the NHL. Don't use a freaking minigame to decide playoff games lmao If OT rules are so bad, why are the Rams in the SB when the Saints got the ball first? That's not my business though. If you have to change it, just make a TD not end the game. Any score besides FG/TD = game over. If the offense scores a TD, the other team gets a chance to match with a TD, if they don't, game over. If the offense scores a FG, the other team can win with a TD or score a FG and the game goes on. As a Pats fan I remember losing so many games in OT due to these rules and we've also won some games. It always goes both ways lol

College overtime is not football period. Coin flip winner only wins only half the time. When you put the ball on the field 20 yard line and go 3 plays and kick 3 times in a row. it is not exciting. The college overtime also has a the problem with coin toss a 30% of chance winning, while the NFL coin toss loser has a 46% chance of winning. The college overtime system is boring. It is quite boring because the majority of the time 76%. The first team with ball kicks a field goal. If they miss the field the second team just Kicks a field goal and wins. If the first team makes the field goal the second team throw a corner pick play for a touch down. There are no chances for a big play and QBs are looking to check down then throw it long and most defenses and in prevent. You don't get a game ending like the Miami Dolphins vs San Diego Chargers AFC championship game. John Elway's amazing comeback may never had occurred. You don'r see teams claim the after winning the toss then lose the game. You have no game winning kick off returns.
