Maybe one day Chiefs HC Andy Reid will get the credit he deserves. Yes Bellicheck had an amazing run with some of the most phenomenal players. Coach Reid has done it both divisions and many QBs. McNabb, Alex Smith, Mike Vick and the his greatest work Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Since it's draft time, I remember what all the so called experts/insiders/draft clergy were saying about Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes. They called him a gunslinger, an interception waiting to happen, should have played baseball(full disclosure, as a Lifelong Detroit Tigers fan and since we drafted him I would have been fine) no pocket awareness etc. Andy Reid didn't flinch. Saw the positive potential, leadership qualities, work ethic. Same exact thing with Travis Kelce. Saw the positives, like his supreme route running ability. The drive to break that 1st tackle etc. Couple more Super Bowls and we have to consider Andy Reid on GOAT level.

Yes but at the same time Reid was close to getting fired from kc after 2017. He was one of the worst playoff coaches in the nfl at that time with a horrendous 1-5 playoff record in kc. Mahomes was the final piece to propel him into HoF. Without Patrick, he is just a goos regular season coach

I remember hearing talks about firing him back then and thinking the people talking about that were crazy. Yeah maybe we weren't winning so much in the playoffs but I remember back what the team was like in the Romeo Crennel/Tod Hayley days and I've been so incredibly happy to see how the team has turned around

As someone from St. Louis, it's interesting that there has never been a sports rivalry between St. Louis and Kansas City. It's always been between St. Louis and Chicago in hockey and baseball. Well, there was that World Series between the Royals and Cardinals in the mid 1980s, but that's about it. 4.o

Mainly because each cities teams of the major sports even back when the Rams were in town have played in separate conferences. Cardinals - NL Royals -AL Rams - NFC Chiefs -AFC Maybe now that St Louis has a soccer team if the sport keeps growing then that might become a rivalry someday.

Kansas City didn't have any major league sports teams until what the sixties? Or really the seventies when the AFL merged with the NFL. So St. Louis Chicago had a 50-year head start. Certainly in baseball and maybe you know the St. Louis football Cardinals started as the Chicago Cardinals.

Kansas City has an inferiority complex we feel like no one gives us any credit for anything because we live in the dead center of the country with nothing geographical to be happy about except humidity, mosquitoes and Pat Mahomes. Denver had Elway and KC had 14 lame QB's over the same time! I feel for teams with bad luck and bad owners . NFL teams can lose games but everybody gets paid !

Dan Patrick no longer deserve to have this content paying his bills. Your comments on his brother's speech this week were incomprehensible, inaccurate (fyi - New Heights was number 1 before TS), creepy and bizarre. You didn't discuss any content within the speech, rather what he wore? Beyond weird and sounded a heck of a lot like jealousy of how much a city adores a player and his accomplishments. As for tears (and he wasn't shedding any when you said he was) many of the greatest men who have accomplished things you haven't ever dreamt shed them.
