The chief is a classic Anti-Red-Medium weapon. After you have killed the red mediums (because this is your profession), just continue with medium gameplay. Spot, flank, claim Checkpoints etc. If you play this tank as a heavy, you wont perform well!

It's sort of the Super Pershing's British cousin. Low alpha, high rate of fire, good gun depression, mediocre mobility.. yeah seems decent. I think I would like it. However... WG's most recent pay-to-win creation, the T26E5, is coming soon. And it easily outguns both the Chieftain and the Super Pershing.

@@omarluna8269 The 252U is not OP. It can be countered pretty easily since its lower plate is huge af. Putting that aside, I checked blitzhangar and the T26E5 has *230* mm of pen on its gun. Thats absurd for such a low caliber.

@@Skippy-id9yt True... I came here to see if I should get it. Earlier I went up against one and the armor was still kinda troll, the cupola doesn't seem so big when its moving lol. I ended up killing it after another teammate came over to help

I had buyded this tank in 2018, and i liked how it's is good to get credits, but for carry a battle is very hard, because his cupola is so weak a point what a t49 can pen its front with HE shell, in my opinion what that made this tank no op is the fact of the its was released like a mediun in firth time, and a time ago its was redefined like a heavy, and his reload is too slow to you make a greath damage fast in battle, the tiger 1 can do more damage than it, and the penetration of chietain is too bad too for a heavy, it can be 210 or 220, like this will be perfect, but i don't guess the wargamming will buff this tank.

I think you should use this tank as a medium, not a heavy. If you play it like a traditional heavy, you will feel terrible. This tank has almost the worst alpha, worst penetration of tier8 heavy. He can not stand in city because lack armor, you should play hull down. Ok, when you play hull down, your massive cupola sold you out. This tank really need good skill. If a new player use this tank, this will be completely a disaster. If you play VK4502A well, you can play this tank too. BTW, VK4502A is also a medium, not heavy in my eyes.

Maybe you should do a review/how to play of/for the KV4? Please make a video on the KV4 Mr Martin, I've looked all over YT and all the videos there are outdated.

Hahahaha! I struggled with kv4. Have all modules upgraded and 86k exp (needs 166k xp to ST-I). And I still SOLD it. Man I hate it so much. Only 50% winrate in it. I was stupid not upgrading the gun first. The only advice I can give is go for the gun to make it less terrible.

I think you should do a top 10 tank lines to grind or best line in every class. Also which tech trees to start off with. Anyways, nice video and I'm the first comment lol.

I think for that low alpha and bad pen againts tier 9, this tank need a buff of dpm, need a reload like bp or 4.2 sec, but 190 alpha on tier 9 with that awful pen.. and the HE is bad too, at least deserve to have hesh

Well said, I have this tank back from an event we had. And surprised how Meh it is despite waving the chieftan banner. Gun needs some umph.. but maybe that's just how premium tanks suppose to be. We been spoiled by op premiums lol

@@SG449 I would say this tank has a better hull than typical Brit .. so mobility should be lil better to show. But moves like canarvon without the big wide size. It's decent and true stays in line with rest of brits
