Yes if you insert a sim card the watch becomes a smartphone. So it will work stand-alone.

I have one and its awesome. This is my third smartwatch and its a big leap forward. Check that Antutu score a again after a reboot as I've seen much higher scores. Go ahead, get one. PS I got a black stainless steel 24mm strap from Amazon and it really takes the look up a notch. It really looks high end now.

Such a high quality channel! Got PRO for myself I must admit, its a great watch. There some bugs tho. Dont even want to talk about the wiiwatch2 app and connection with Huawei Mate 10 PRO - its just disaster. Had to switch to watch droid - slightly better. And finally - the always time display function. Its great but is not readable in day light. Is there any solution for that? I was in contact with kospet afte sale service, but their English seems to be worse than mine. Best regards, and keep the channel up! Tomasz

I may go for this one over Wear OS for my next smartwatch. How embarrassing is it that Google Assistant performs better on that watch than their own Wear OS stuff? Something like half the commands don't work on Wear OS but work fine on regular smartphones (which this Kospet watch basically is as it runs full Android).

I have two Questions: a) Where is the battery drain going? Running LiteOS on an 800mAh battery only gets 3 days. Compare that to AmazFit GTR which gets 24 days on a 410mAh battery. Could someone explain which hardware/software components in this Kospet are a heavy drain on the battery? Thanks :-) b) The Kospet Optimus Pro CPU Antutu benchmark was only 20,000 compared to the Kospet Hope benchmark which was 30,000. Thats quite a drop. I could see that the Optimus Pro was only running at 1.1GHz while the Hope was running at 1.3 Ghz. Do you think the purpose of this was just to increase the Battery Life? I have the Kospet Hope and I love everything about the watch except the battery life. My watch came with an extra USB cable to connect directly to my computer to copy files so that was a plus. Other than the battery life I have no issues with it. Unfortunately I just don't like having to charge the watch so often. Even in Airplane Mode it still doesn't last much longer than a day. Can anybody explain what it's going to take to get an Android Kospet Watch like these to get a battery life similar to the AmazFit GTR? I would even be very happy with 7 days between charges. Amazefit GTR - proprietary OS ( like Wear OS or Google wear OS but with less features) Kospet - Full android version like Android Smartphones To answer you question, full android version has more background apps to sustain than wear OS which is why the battery drains so fast.

This is everything I hoped that kospet hope could be. My kospet hope couldn’t last longer than 7-8hrs using strava. Gps performance is quite slow and inaccurate at times based on my strava runs. The charger is low quality and not durable. Screws rusted in a month of use. Perhaps I should get this next. I want the battery life to last at least 15-24 hrs using strava. It’s nice that they replace the charger with a cradle type for this model. Meaning I can still use the watch while charging.

You can't make calls from this watch without sim card, you can only receive notifications from your phone
