You did a great job explaining and giving explicit details regarding a Plaintiff. I would've appreciated a video explaining the Ask and Counterclaim in response to a plaintiff. It seems most videos are only geared toward the plaintiff but justice calls for both sides to be heard. As a defendant, I would've loved a support video for my side.

Is this the same process to file for Shared Custody?

Father is on the bc but has not established paternity. He lied. Telling us both to go stay with my family in tn while he fixed our family home. How ever during that time he informed me we were over and he was with someone else. So I stayed in tn and got him enrolled in a public school, now the father is threatening me with a court battle if I don't let him take our son back to nc ( for a few days ) We have not established a custody agreement and I'm terrified to allow him to tale our son to nc with him for a weekend. My son hardly knows him and is terrified. Can we sign a simple notarized document staying when and where he can pick him up and bring him back. Will law enforcement help me if his father tries to keep him? Or does it have to still be signed off thru the courts? I cannot get a straight answer, can anyone help
