Howdy folks!
This song has always been one I've wanted to do, doing it pushed me to my absolute musical limit. ‪@DeepPurpleOfficial‬ are my favourite band of all time and this is one of their greatest. Please forgive any mistakes, it's such a long song it would've taken me days to get the audio and video perfect!
I'm not even going to tell you how late I stayed up to finish this one, but rest assured I will be fast asleep when this post is published at 9am Adelaide time!

That was at another level. I've heard this song covered before where one of the instruments is highlighted by a very talented musician, but you played them ALL to perfection! Seriously, your vocals would easily stand on their own as one of the most epic renditions of this song. But to then have you play all other instruments, and presumably recording and mixing the audio *and* video.. wow. One bit I would throw out there, take care of your voice and don't do this song too often. Send people to this video if they want to hear you sing it lol.

Ok, I've got to admit that up until today I wasn't familiar with Stefan's work other than seeing him in a few HSCC & Sing It LIve videos. Then I came across this cover of Deep Purple's seminal Child In Time and my first thought was "Ok, this should be interesting, it's a tough song to sing" and I'll be honest that after watching this, my jaw is STILL agape!!!! Wow, just wow is all that I can say. Good work, sir. Very good work indeed!!! :) Can't wait to see (and hear) what you do next. Rock on.

Stefan . This is my absolute favorite DP tune. My older brother had the old 8 track (if u don't know what that is look it up ) lol My brother was 9 years older than me . Nobody ever covers Child in time and radio stations never play it. I lost my big bro a few years ago to cancer ( not looking for sympathy ) I just want to thank you for the chills and the tears for the epic memory. Thanks dude ! 🙂

OK I must say I was a little worried when I saw this one. "Child In Time" by Deep Purple is one of my all time favorite songs from Deep Purple and of the "Classic Rock" era. It's much better than I thought it would. The lead guitar work is tough and the vocals especially on the chorus are beyond most people's ability to handle. You aced it Stefan. This is the music I grew up with and it is so nice to hear a serious and talented cover. Just listening to it brought back a lot of really good memories.
