Child killer Henry Dinkins went on a rant at his sentencing Wednesday, saying he received "unfair treatment" during his murder case that led to him being found guilty of murdering 10-year-old Breasia Terrell. "I was being bamboozled by the blindside," Dinkins said to the judge. The judge then sentenced Dinkins to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Literacy and proper education are key. There’s no coincidence so many defendants read this way. When folks talk about the prison pipeline, it’s not made up. That’s no excuse by the way, this man is trash and deserves the maximum punishment.

This has nothing to do with literacy. His son helped to convict him. That’s the issue. Why does he even get a chance to speak? Non of this case is circumstantial.

I get what you're saying. Although, the Federal Prison system is filled with educated and literate people. Lack of education and illiteracy usual combo to more minor crimes like theft, possession, distribution, etc. Not this level of offense.

@@Whatshanameyou are right. States have used 3rd grade literacy scores to determine future prison cell needs. That’s why passing poor children through school when they should be held back is cruel. Those children are far more likely to end up in prison, on welfare, etc.

Well you knew that before you committed the crime, that you were going to have to do the time behind it!! So you're sitting there bellyaching ,but it was because of your actions you followed through with the crime,so now you have to pay with years off your life. I wish you the best.
