For example we have 2 words four you, both towards adults/people who are above you and a word for equals. Kids know the difference. When to use words in certain context and when not to use it.

I think the real issue is teaching children ridiculous names in place of their privates. If you don’t want to teach them the proper names at the very least teach them private parts. I think ‘meatball’ probably touched her food while watching her, which could’ve been chicken. So she told them about him touching her food. I remember one episode where a little girl told her teacher that a relative licked her cookie and the teacher didn't respond accordingly because they thought it was an actual cookie. Not everybody instantly knows what cookie means. But everyone knows what a private is, what a vagina/penis is. Even go back to teaching them "no, no area." But food should bever be associated with privates for kids.

Our doctor does not allow our kids to say things like "my chicken, tutu, cookie ect" predators prey on kids who use these words. If a child uses proper terminology like penis and vagina, a predator will know that this child understands correctly and will not pursue them like they would a child who says cookie, chicken ect. ALWAYS teach your kids the proper terminology even if they are young. Both my kids use the correct words and know that people are not allowed to touch you there. I think if people took the time to do this kids would be much more likely to speak up immediately if anything does actually happen. I feel so sorry for this mother.

I’m surprised she told the truth and the reason is because one of the signs somebody is lying is when they say no I did not instead of no I didn’t because people don’t usually talk like that naturally people use contractions and when they don’t they’re usually lying and they say the long form because it takes more time and they can think what they’re going to say next
