@@lyricfactory Lindsey knew about AGT. She would watch people become BIG stars and everyone (The Industry) wanted them. And before AGT and KZbin, Lindsey was trying to get into "The Industry", but she couldn't. They didn't want her. Then she thought, "I'll just get on AGT and I'll be all set." An easy path to stardom. The problem was they wanted Lindsey to really spice things up. Unfortunately, she did too much, too soon. She wasn't ready to do all that she showed them. Her last performance for them was NOT her best. They were RIGHT. But they were really mean about it. That's why she harbors no ill will towards them. Lindsey knows and admits it was not her best. She decided 2 things at that time -- 1) to add the word, "YET" to what they said. 2) to work a lot more at it. She turned every show and performance into a practice session. They say that to be an expert at something, you need 10,000 hours at it. Lindsey has 30,000 hours now. Actually, it's kinda funny. AGT doesn't normally tell people to "spice things up." It's like God wanted her to lose. I can see that. Lindsey would not have been on KZbin...and I would not have known Lindsey. God just made it easier for Him to give me Lindsey. Thank God! 😂

Samantha O'Neill That's what I'm saying, maybe they liscensed the Shatter Me song from Lindsey a while ago and "gamerized" the theme music for Child of Light. But I never played the game so I wouldn't know for sure. Otherwise, traditionally, she would make a rendition of someone else's song (in the game), like those Japanese composers in Zelda. So in this case, it would still be a "cover", but it's a cover of a Lindsey Stirling song. :)

rasmasyean I played the game (and you should test it ^^) and I don't think there is a link between the soundtracks of the game and this song. For the game, it's "Coeur de pirate" who make the songs, and the melody of "Shatter me" is never present in them. I think Lindsey just make the video in Aurora's cosplay to promote the game :)

Child of Light was on sale on Steam a while ago, so I purchased a copy for myself and my daughter. They can thank you, Lindsey, and your crew for the business. Ubisoft - the ones who made CoL - published another indie game called "Heaven's Vault" by Inkle Studios. That's next on my purchase list. Great for people who prefer puzzles to hack-and-slash. And I wouldn't know it existed if this video hadn't set off that line of dominoes! Also, "Shatter Me" is on my list of morning power songs. I wouldn't know about the awesomeness that is Halestorm if not for Lindsey and her collaborative work. Thank you!

No, it's from a similar looking game by Ubisoft of Montreal, and it's called Child Of Light. It's one of my favourite games, and it's really beautiful- visually and plot-wise.
