Or his agency could have a policy saying to not intervene in something that does not include a person getting active assauted or murdered. My friend's agency in Colorado has policy saying Officers when off duty must carry 24/7, but are not allowed to intervene unless someone is active getting physically assaulted, murdered, raped, or kidnapped. If none of those conditions are met, an off duty arrest, and intervention is not allowed, all they can do is call on duty officers to conduct the arrest, and to intervene.

It's kind of a double standard how it is a good thing for the stranger to invite the teenager in her car, but it is a bad thing for the guy who planned to meet her, inviting her to join him in his car. No adult should ever be inviting an unknown minor in their car without the parents' permission. The right thing to do in this situation is to call the minor's parents and have them take the minor home. Or call the police, so there is a record that you didn't lure the minor anywhere.

I’m now 20 and I’ve had to run into a public restroom twice from him and I chased him with a taser last night and the circle k clerk called the cops on me for trying to tase him after I told him when I first ran inside the store not to let him in there that he is crazy. He broke open the bathroom door and I yelled help, he calmed down we went outside so I would be in front of cameras and then I started to chase him with my taser. I’m so scared to go to court but I have to have the courage because there’s so many guys like him and I don’t want him taking advantage of any other young girls.

For a police officer, that guy is awfully slow to act.... Edit: Thanks for the support with your likes. Some people have replied to me about the guy perhaps being 'off duty'. That's not the point, is it? Otherwise, no ordinary citizen, no non-police officer would ever speak up because ordinary people are never officially 'on duty'. I'm saying that anybody, but *especially* a police officer, has the moral duty to act. *_Moral duty isn't something where we can say 'I was off duty'_* And a police officer has more resources and power - they can call for back up, they have specific training, more authority to act, and often they carry a weapon even when they're off duty. _But the real point here, like I say, is the moral duty. If an officer isn't going to act on that, who is?_

Everybody have breakups and rejections which make them learn one think don't fuck with others and mind your own business!! worst part is, boys can't even say it, cause the moment they say, boys are labeled pussy, bitch or retards, grow up dude, take responsibilities!! What're you doing here" and truck guy turned around and I gave him a big hug and whispered "Please help me I dont know this guy" and i let go of the hug and truck guy said "Yeah....well ..i was meeting mom for lunch and decided to wash the truck...?.." I laughed and said "Going all out huh?" Would be napper split with the quickness. I apologized a ton and thabked the guy, i was shaking and in tears and it took me a few to calm down...TURNS OUT the truck guy had a daughter who wouldve been my age but she was kidnapped and killed a couple years prior. He said "I couldnt do anything for her, but I could for you" We called the police together and made a report, so we exchanged numbers and are close to this day.

Unfortunately this is all acting, because it barely happens in reality. And these "kids" (16 is not a child, they are young adults) who are kidnapped are rarely kidnapped by strangers, most of the time they went with one of their parents and the other parent reported it as a kidnapping. Stop believing the media fear mongering

I think she is Haitian, not from the African continent. Her accent is very similar to other Haitian accents and she looks very much like the Hatian people ik.

Because he is off duty you're not supposed to say that you're a cop
@nickvslife20135 жыл бұрын
@@MelodyXpierce I disagree. By saying your a Police Officer it only adds to a sticky situation. Technically by the law the pedo didnt break a law. Legally he isnt suppose to do anything and also young woman victims are more likely to be more comfortable if a older woman (police officer, mother, etc) talks to them. If you ever had LE experience you would know a female rape victim will be more open to speak with a female detective than a Male one because usually the victim is more comfortable talking to another woman.

His other half or sister or friend said he's a cop not him also she probably just said it to scare the guy plus technically a police officer even off duty cop has to step in if they see a crime being or about to be committed best way to due this is to say your off duty police officer makes the other person think twice or allows him to detain the person for on duty officers.

even though the man was just an actor, when he said ‘age is just a number’ it got me really mad because i know that a lot of men say that as an excuse and ALSO if age is just a number then why do they aim for teenage girls? disgusting how this happens in real life but i love this video and how it spreads awareness and how many people there would be in a coffee shop who care about this young girls safety.
