To get to this level of perfection means practice... 40hrs a day!! I'm learning the violin and so look forward to the day when I CAN play the notes and focus on putting my heart and soul into a piece instead!

This is indeed about being connected to the music. A year later, this kid was a concert pianist. The people in the park are not aware of what they are experiencing. Beethoven didn't have a great instrument and if he did, he wouldn't have been able to appreciate it.

Young Asians are encouraged to play an instrument and do well in school. Martha isn't Asian but she has been playing for what 75 years? This little boy is special for sure, is his name George?

@@BangkokVoiceCoach Isn't she marvelous. I read that she has horrible stage fright and sometimes won't go on stage. That is why she immediately sits and plays and gets up and leaves without waiting for the happiness the audience would love to shower her with. Her dr told her she has only lost 10% of her thenar muscle, that is incredible for a woman. I am 75 and barely have any left. She is a real gem.

Если честно, ничего особенного... Долбит по клавишам, не музыкально, не понимает сути произведения и очень много технической "грязи".Советую посмотреть финал детского конкурса "Щелкунчик", который только что прошел в Москве. Там 10 - летний мальчуган в финале сыграл концерт Равеля-вот это ВАУ! Да и серебряный призер 12-летний парнишка сыграл 3 концерт Бетховена- очень прилично! Самое главное-очень музыкально!

@@NatalyaIva23 Может парнишка на видео и талантливый, но он играет просто механистично с техническими ошибками и в силу возраста - не может передать всё, что заложено в этой музыке. А в этой музыке-просто бездна чувств! Её играют и играли величайшие пианисты прошлого и современности.
