Child's Play 2 is also available on Amazon and KZbin. Universal Studios didn't give it as much love as it did with Seed of Chucky.

Steve ordered the Blu-Ray and watched it again recently. He's going to lend me his copy the next time we record, which will be for Final Destination 1 & 2. So, probably in December we'll do Child's Play 2 as well as 1974's Black Christmas.

Unpopular opinion- I think the childs play remake looks good... not amazing and probably not as good as the original but im genuinely excited for it

I appreciate Don Mancini keeping the series going but everything that was great about this flick was all from Tom Holland re write of the script. Bringing in Voodoo and making Chucky possessed by a dead serial killer that was all Tom Holland idea Mancini OG script was more like a standard supernatural thriller with the doll controlled by Andy's inner anger and would come to life when he slept killing those who hurt or pisses the kid off.

Yeah, Holland definitely made it iconic. That original idea isn't bad, but it wouldn't have made it everything that Child's Play became. It wouldn't have had the same appeal or personality.

i agree that the remake will be horse💩. this is a classic. they need to stop rebooting things and try to come up with new ideas. sick of this trend!

Couldn't agree more. The lack of original horror content in the last 10 years is mind-blowing. I don't like sequels either, but at least a sequel is a new movie. If you're going to do a remake (of anything), it needs to be "better than" or "different than." I anticipate this Child's Play doing neither.
