Typically my Halloween movie viewings consist of Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown. This year I decided to expand my horror movie knowledge and try and watch these horror movie fan favourites.

I dont understand why people hated Part 3. It had an interesting premise and tried to be different. After this it went into silly comedy and didn't recover until Curse of Chucky. It went for the same location change Poltergeist 3 did and a lot of people hated THAT as well. Both didnt bother me. I wished they brought Tyler back later no even the TV series because he was not a minor character and he was part of the story but they just forgot he existed

This is actually my least favorite of the series because it seemed so rushed. The next movie is called Bride of Chucky and it’s definitely worth a watch (one of my favorites).

Bride of Chucky is worth watching. Directed by Ronny Yu, who started in Hong Kong with great movies like The Bride with White Hair.

_Poltergeist III_ is such a strange diversion from the first 2 movies, a very interesting 1988 Time Capsule piece. I do hope you give it a chance sometime. Cold but entertaining.

Must be a full moon this week like 3 youtubers posted Child's Play 3 reactions lol 😅 Nice reaction. Yes the series is pretty solid. This is the one franchise that also has one main timeline continuity unlike Halloween, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street.

OH MY GOD so true, when i watched childs play 3 for the first time. I wanted Shelton and his lapdog ellis to die SO BADLY. Hell one only times i can really rememeber i was so happy someone died. When Ellis got violent with andy for blaming him for changing the rifles i SO WANTED ellis to get caught in the grenade blast if andy could have kicked ellis out of the way.

Bride of Chucky is next and it's OK if you don't expect anything scary as it's more of a comedy. Seed of Chucky is after and it's beyond abysmal, easily the worst of them all. Thankfully things somewhat return to form with Curse of Chucky and then Cult of Chucky.

Definitely not my favourite in the series as it definitely moved into comedy territory rather than scares. So did the next one called Bride Of Chucky, that was a lot of fun though. Childs Play 3 get banned here in the UK as two young children kidnapped and killed another child and the media jumped all over this movie saying it was them watching it that caused them to commit the horrific crime. They hadn't seen it though and as always it was just standard & disgusting media BS.

Yes there are other movies. As for your question of "How they were able to pull it back".... I was terribly tempted to answer, cause THE answer seems like a joke. But I just will say that the next one : The Bride of Chucky, is actually my favorite of the franchise... But the one after that : The Seed of Chucky, is the one that got me out of it. There is 2 other movies after that I haven't seen, but saw critiques/summaries of them, and they seem kinda 'meh'.
