Did you sand all the armor parts before priming? There should be some sort of texture for the primer to adhere to the plastic. I'm assuming you did not sand the armor parts that's why the primer peeled off.

oh yeah! I just washed the parts with a bit of detergent to remove oil.

You might also want to use a surface primer as well 🙂Should help with base coat durability. I am also a fan of using vinyl masking tape and masking putty where I can.

I just bought a locally made primer, not Tamiya or vallejo. Might try one of those when I used it all up. Thanks for the suggestion! 😊

@@marksumaljag All primer is usually the same but of course higher quality is best. Pre-sanding after washing will help create a small layer on the surface of the plastic to help primer/paint adhere better.
