Child Theology Movement Group (January 2025)

This session was led by Rev Dr John McNeill, who is on the board of trustees for Child Theology Movement (CTM). In this session, he traced a trajectory in MacDonald's oeuvre which turns 'older' understandings of God and of children/ childhood, in relation to God, upside down.
The first part of the session was introductions, making note of work in the child theology sphere that is upcoming or has been studied by those attending. The second part was John McNeill's presentation and the remainder was a discussion based on the topic.
These groups are held every 3 months on different subjects within the Child Theology field.
