Čatež is a spa town in eastern Slovenia, close to croatian border, by the Sava river. It is named after mytological dwarf of the same name from slavic pagan past times.

Hi Smokey! I'm so pleased that the envelope got to you OK. It's a shame that the post office here decided that one cancellation on the stamps wasn't enough. I glad that you like the contents of the envelope. I was pretty sure that the brochure on historic churches would go down well with you. For a fairly sparsely populated area, there are a remarkable number of churches. The British stamp with the white cartoon mouse on is from a set of stamps on the theme of Children's Television. The character (the mouse) is called Danger Mouse, the world's greatest secret agent, who is a sort of James Bond-like crime fighter. He has a hamster sidekick named Penfold who usually ends up in some dire situation, though fortunately Danger Mouse always manages to win the day and save the world. His main protagonist is Baron Silas von Greenback, a dastardly toad who has a pet worm-like creature named Nero. You can watch full episodes on KZbin, though they mostly seem to be newer versions. When I was younger, Danger Mouse was one of my favourite cartoons.
