So refreshing to hear their dad being reflective of his parenting journey. You can hear through all the hardship, it was all love for his kids to have better than what he had - This is the reality for a lot us parents, doing the best we could do with the example set before us.
@2stockshakur672 күн бұрын
Bro! Finally a honest reflection on how a lot of us grew up. A lot of parents try and hide those moments. We use to get belted, and guess what? We are all good and became resilient because of it. Big ups to Dad. As a dad with kids and coaching. My dream is to achieve the same.

What a dad - his parts were refreshingly open and honest. Don’t necessarily agree with all his parenting but you can see he did what he thought was best and tried his best to raise them right. Even in what he said about Terrell and thinking he maybe should’ve tried other ways of teaching him was very self aware.

I love how real this was and i'm grateful my parents also raised us this way. Although they regret how they did some things now, they only did the best they knew how and it shaped us into the respectful, grateful and successful adults we are now.
