I know this song s meaning. 2008 to 2012 i think. Alexi is suffered from ulcers because of drinking. He wrote this song because of it.... R.I.P legend😢

yeah, atleast that's what I heard from the people around me, I was pretty young back then and just got into CoB. Everyone said that Blooddrunk was not death-melo anymore but "thrash melo" and that was a poser move etc... eh, that was the vibe of the era @@Baguette12349

Right now, after a long time ... i think its cobs best album, nexto to HCDR. Funny that i hated it when it came out, i was that classic "first 3 albums only" elitist.

Heartbreaking to see Alexi go. I remember the day that kid in highschool told me to check out COB and once I heard his playing I rushed out to buy this album. Then once I had it, I played it incessantly. Every issue of Guitar World with Alexi in it usually was in my hands. Truly one of the few who became a personal guitar hero to me and truly had an effect on my life.

This was my childhood band. I was always on the edge of my seat waiting for new music from them ever since 2008. This is my favorite song and I’m forever saddened by the loss of Alexi last December. He was my guitar hero and inspiration outside of Dimebag. Forever remembered and missed.

Wild Child. Never spent money on a record before I heard this man’s playing. Him and Roope are the lifeblood to how I approach the guitar. Janne taught me melody growing up, and Samuli and Jaska helped me learn to feel those tight rhythms. The world has lost a true gift today and I hope Alrxi’s fam finds strength and peace in these hard times. Never shed a tear for someone I didn’t personally know, but RIP Alexi.

[Spoken intro:] They say drinking is a way to die, But at the end... dying is a way to drink, that's why... Unquenchable thirst burns you inside The ruins of already burnt out mind Inexhaustable craving for something You're already crying. [Bridge:] Degenerate drunk with a razor blade Strung out spilling your own blood. Exterminate scars already made. Ready for another drink, can you wait? Detoxing, here come the withdrawals. [Whispering:] Maybe you've gone too far. Deep within things are getting hot Can't deny, take another shot. [Chorus:] Blooddrunk - wasted again. All inside your pain will fade Blooddrunk - you call me insane. Degenerate bloodrunk with a razor blade. [Solos] [Bridge] [Chorus x2
