@@judaspriestfan yes, in my country, we let 6 year olds do the death metal vocals because they sound so brutal; jokes aside: you are not right. the physical characteristics of your vocal chords and throat will affect the sound. mongolian throat singing sounds different when women sing it. also the false vocal chord thing is something you need to master and understand. there are a LOT of metal vocalists out there that sound like crap because no technique and no volume etc. - source - me, death/black metal vocalist since I was 15 (34 now) - also if you wanna be a vocalist that is taken seriously, you need to take singing lessons and start developing your voice. talent only brings you this far.
