Now this is different. People don't make black metal like this anymore. Like, I feel I haven't listened to something like this in 10 years. It's raw and yet so rich, it's packed with riffs and grooves, the drums do sounds that I hear only in this very interpretation of the genre. The final song is poetry, nothing else. This is a genre "condensed, purified". It is how a very particular concept of metal is developed into a final product with no inbetweens, no interpolations but insight and knowledge. Hats - off. 👏👏👏👏

This is Judas Iscariot's frozen yet melodic style of black metal, and it's most definitely still done by other people. Another very famous modern example would be Taurus (Fellwinter/Arbor/Gauntlet's Ring/Atheosophia).

It also clearly is a wolfs hook which I can't judge cause I got a tattoo of it myself, although mine has to do with the actual meaning of binding a wolf (Lokasenna) and nothing political. Its hard to tell as its so small, but I honestly don't see any Rune that would be the letter M in this. Unless its an adaptation of that symbol which wouldn't really make sense.

@@junesuprise usually what people label as 10/10 nowadays is what i consider hippie trash like kekh arak (i don't even bother to write it correctly) or post/overproduced shit with wall of riffs atmospheric sentimental black metal. I don't like it. Of course there's may be some exception, but i don't listen too much black metal as i used to, and usually what pick my interest is old runners bands that i know that they know how to do the things. It's a pretty safe bet if you ask me, but i don't care, i'm too old to bother myself. Actually im following some guys like Swartadautuz, Sir N., Werwolf, Grimspirit and some other small scandinavian scenes that, in my view, succed in maintaining the flame alive.
