@@Charles_Anthony this is true, Hexed is underrated but for me its not getting mixed with their other last 3 Records. Hexed had something that has not been present in CoB records in a long time. @@pukelius4128: Yeah, I think Daniel from Naildown was a breath of fresh air for the band and Alexi. His skin looks yellow-ish and a bit like wax, might be something liver related eventually. I would actually risk in a liver cancer, considering his weight loss, years of excess with alcohol, his complains about pain or "being too old" or "too fucked up" + him saying in an interview about being sober, that he was spitting and vomitting blood when he was wasted. Also he wrote the song "Blooddrunk" where he wrote this: "Degenerate drunk with a razor blade Strung out spilling your own blood Exterminate scars already made"

Fuckn A. I missed this band and I miss Alexi. I got to meet him 3 times. Once was at the glasshouse 2009. Signed my arm and i got it tattooed over. Then in 2012 I got on 70k and we ran into each other and i showed him the tattoo and he said i was fuckn crazy. We hung out from time to time on the boat for a few minutes drinking and shooting the shit. He apologized about being a dick when i first ran into him on the boat. he was sea sick, (and after the COB performance on the pool deck he was puking into a bucket.) But I told him dont worry about. And then the last night of the cruise I was at the computer checking my bank account to see how much money i spent on the boat and he sits down right next to me and hes drunk as shit and hes like "oh fuck its you whats up" and i was like 'whats up alexi" hes like "dude im drunk as shit show me how this works" So i showed him how to swip his key card to get the computer to work. We laughed and he was like "dude your fucking cool, im still sorry about being a dick to you the first day we met" i told him dont even worry about it, we bullshitted for a minute and the rest of the night would just run into each other time to time click drinks and we'd just be doing our own thing. But the last time i got to see him was 2019 on the final hexed tour. When i walked up to the table, i was like "hey whats up alexi remember me" and as i rolled up my sleeve he instantly was like "dude its you holy fuck how long has it been" it was 7 years we hadnt seen each other and he still remembered me from 70 k. Such an awesome human being. I got into the in 1999/2000. and as a musician I just fell in love with COB and following them for most their career. i honestly couldnt imagine a day that we didnt have COB anymore. Its so fuckin werid now looking back thinking a band i bascially grew up with as a Gen Xer isnt together anymore. and then to top it off, the idea that Alexi is gone, just doesnt seem right. I miss that dude more than i can say. RIP Alexi and COBHC the evolution of the most dangerous band in rock n roll *GnR, COBHC in my opinion wears the crown as the most dangerous band in heavy metal.

I was a Bodomchild from my teenage years and on. I was there when they recorded the Stockholm Knockout DVD. Alexi deserved a longer life. I miss him and the band.

I just straight up adored the work that Alexi and Roope did. I play guitar and the pair of them were/are incredibly inspirational. Its so sad what has happened to Alexi and become of poor Roope. I cant speak on the arguments between the band on the division of money... I feel like Alexi did deserve more as he was the face, voice and screaming guitar lines of Bodom and was a creative powerhouse... But their keyboard player and drummer were amazing too and the bassist was an original founding member i believe. Im in my 30s now. I go to AA twice a week and have been sober 7 years. I have a wife and kids and had to give up on the dreams of metal stardom a while ago as it would have killed me, not that i was much good. I meet so many people now on the path alexi was walking, on the way to a horrible end. I wish dearly that alcohol could be seen for the horrendous drug that it is and not be socially glamorised. I cant imagine what his life would have looked like without drink, but it would have been a lot better. I miss you Alexi. I dont miss "wildchild". i miss the kid who was a classically trained musician, who spent thousands of hours studying his passion, so he could make it his own and put together a fantastic band with equally talented friends. I will always think of you as the guy in the "Four Seasons" video with Roope. That blew my mind like i cannot describe. Youre a hero. You cant make someone get better if they dont want to themselves. I wish others the strength to find a reason to recover before they walk too far down this path.

Throwing you the horns, from one " Friend of Bill's" to another. It does strike a chord. Next month will be 15 years, I am a few months younger than Alexi. 15 years since I felt that overwhelming shame and destruction.

Man your girlfriend must have more balls than you. He is driving perfect. If some motherfucker drive like an idiot infront of you, and you are recording and live at the same time, and trying to focus on album you are working on, aren't you gonna swear too? Just asking.

@@arieswildchild - recording anything while driving is sign of being careless idiot, not good driver.
