@@AliZurix i was about to say it . i highly doubt he will come back got a big hit when they kicked him from the band without reason at all . People should think to the impact of their actions on other people life . The funny thing was that everybody was a alcohol and drugs addict but the only one kicked out for that was him . that choice make even less sense now that unluckily alexi laiho died cuz drink himself to death . Really a one bad ending for one of my favorite death metal band .

This was filmed in the golden era of Finnish metal. During the early 2000's Alexi (may he rest in peace) was at his best and Bodom was making pure gold, record after record, Nightwish had released a couple of records and was starting to bloom, Ensiferum and Moonsorrow released their first albums etc.

I need inputs whether I should ask them to paint it like Wild Child or Stone. I originally was thinking of the wildchild black and yellow bevel. but after watching this I'm kinda liking the black and white pinstripes

@@noodlehair6566 i got a japanese RR1 that i modded the hell out of to make it look like the Stone RR. I could send you some pics, if you'd like. Its easier to do the Yellow bevel look, cause you just have to paint them, but the pinstripes are a little tricky to get right.

As for when it comes to the gear that produces these sounds, their racks have the following: Roope: Rocktron Hush IICX Lee Jackson GP-1000 Alesis Quadraverb VHT 2902 (old version. Similar to the 2150 that was virtually in every metal band's rack late 80's, early 90's, including Megadeth. Both have KT-88 tubes for massive headroom, this one was just 2 rack units instead of 4) Alexi: Lee Jackson GP-1000 Rocktron Intellifex (old blackface) Rocktron Velocity 250 EDIT: Roope's unit wasn't just basic Hush, but a multiunit from Rocktron that hasHush and Expander too.

I was at a similar clinic in another town that same year. Brings back memories! I was 15 years old then. Had just started playing the guitar. It was really cool to see these two shred from two meters away. And when they left they both gave me a high five! Life sure was great back then...

Wildchild guitar had yellow pinstripes if i remember correctly. And roope had his RRs before laiho.

@@oxtoxes it had yellow bevels. This one seems to have white pinstripes and I believe it to be the one bought from Jiri, the one he ordered in Stone the same time as Roope ordered his. I can't quite put a date to Roope's guitar. It could be the same one he ordered back then, just retrofitted with single coil, since the single coil appeared in pics pretty late.

The first time i saw Alexi was guitar world, he bit the string pack and said they taste great too. I thought ' wtf this guys weird'. Later on 'Betcha cant play this' i was stunned, wasnt much after i invested all my time in learning Sinergy and Children of Bodom licks on guitar. He was my main inspiration, and it sucks we lived the same path in life. He went and i refuse too

@Franco After he got kicked out of Bodom he just stopped playing guitar all together and fell into ,a depression. There is a finnish interview where he talks about it. Pretty sad, and now with Alexi's passing I really worry for Roope.

The guitars they tested in the end of this video were probably Jackson RR-LL, which was laiho/latvala signature series. Only 20-30 of those were made and all were sold in Finland if im correct.
