This performance was recorded at The Avalon in Hollywood and this is not the entire chorus. GMCLA has had up to 240 singers, and while the Mormon Tabernacle Choir boasts more members, their ages range from 25 to 60 (and a strict number of years a member can remain), while GMCLA has members from 17-80, some of whom founded the group back in 1979 after SF Mayor Mosconi and City Supervisor Harvey Milk were assassinated by a right-wing extremist named Dan White.
