I teach college business writing courses and was very happy to hear you describe many of the same concepts I teach my students, such as writing concisely, using short paragraphs, incorporating simple formatting techniques, and putting the most important information at the top. I am always surprised by how many people have never heard of these concepts and struggle to incorporate them into their writing. They make such a big difference in readability. I have a question: Should the blurb written for Amazon description be the same as the one on the book's back cover? Or should the one on the back cover be different since it has different constraints? Thanks!

I'm so glad to hear you like them! That's entirely up to you! Oftentimes, if my Amazon description is a bit longer, I tend to shorten the version I have printed directly on the back of my book. I hope this helps!

Hi Shirley! The main goals for our description is to (1) let readers know whether or not our book is the one they are looking for, and to (2) help with our discoverability.
