Okay, true story that happened in my last in person session. (Hearing gambling brought it up) My party had to do a one vs one battle, each team has 4 members, when a member falls, the next one takes their place in the fight. I am a level 4 human barbarian, and was brought to go first to hopefully defeat the first enemy and weaken the second one. I bet on my team winning for a 5 to 1 chance with 400 gold. I kept rolling high and maintained my rage, and won all four fights. We then were to fight a lvl 10 fighter, who was the champion. I went in first...and rolled about 8 nat 20s that fight to win, and I had an Armor Class of 13 for the record! And I bet on us winning with a 25 to 1 odd, and got 5000 platinum. And after that, I rolled to see if I pass out since my character is shy and was suddenly the center of attention, I rolled 9 nat 1s in a row. True story! It will never happen again! And our next session, online, I never rolled above a 7 once, and I wasn't mad after winning impossible odds.
