Thank you so much. I am a Head Start Pre-K Registered Nurse and I am struggling to have the parents to take their child to the dentist every six months. It is so important to health and learning. I am very diligent that I strongly encourage each parent to develop good oral hygiene practices, including regular dental visits. I am going to share your video with the directors of my Pre-K centers to get them on board during the time the parent enrolls the child. My centers often have younger children as well. I have decided that although I don't service toddlers, I will encourage the center directors to also encourage toddlers and baby parents to start oral care as early as 6 months and even prior to that by massaging the gums to get the child used to the dental care motion in their mouths.
