Just an FYI you should place the start of any mixing tip on the tray cover until you see a well-mixed cement/material. Then place it in the SSC or impression tray. Also, it is way easier to clean up after a quick tact cure with a Curing light. It will just peel away in a couple of pieces. Still use care while flossing because cement will not be completely Set-up under SSC.

good suggestions, we normally don't use automix, we prefer the paste/paste Fuji CEM2 that is mixed with a spatula, but it was easier for this video to show the automixing option

Подскажите пожалуйста. Какой инструмент применялся при постановки коронки?
@wennessa944 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the demonstration. The non aerosol generating technique is so crucial in this covid19 pandemic situation and the dental procedures are highly affected as more PPE have to be taken into consideration to ensure safe environment for the oral healthcare professionals as well as the well being of the patients.

Vanessa Li yes! Thank you so much for recognizing why we felt it was important to create this version of Hall Technique demonstration. If you’re not already a subscriber to our channel, there was a non-aerosol SDF application video added, and this week hopefully non-aerosol GIC sealant and filling 👍

How do you trouble shoot cases where the proximal margins of crowns do not seal the caries but margins fitting everywhere else? (Especially on upper Ds) thanks
@affiliatedchildrensdental3 жыл бұрын
Definitely keep a close eye on those, try flossing SDF to the proximal surface to buy time as well

My 4yr old just had dental surgery with something like this but his look like they are imbedded in his gums. I'm in Australia

the crowns tuck under the gum tissue, this is not a problem. Be sure to brush and floss regularly to keep the gums healthy.

What happens if the margins of the crown go under the gingiva?
@affiliatedchildrensdental3 жыл бұрын
the margins should go to or even slightly under the gingiva about 1mm. If it's too long, you can trim

@GearheadSynthesis4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm a dental student and have not had patients yet so excuse me my ignorance when I ask this question. In your clinical videos you demonstrated the technique using pumice to clean to tooth first. Is that step "skippable"? Did you just use the gauze to clean the tooth instead? Thanks!
@affiliatedchildrensdental4 жыл бұрын
Maher Lawand I would clean it with more than gauze, at the very least a microbrush, preferably dipped in 20% polyacrylic acid. You want to get into the crevasses and remove plaque and food debris

Hello! This gentle approach is quite amazing!! Where can i find a dentist office that provides this sort of technique?
@affiliatedchildrensdental4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, you would have to ask the provider yourself if they offer Hall Technique
