Aunt Jackie’s was a cult favorite for me in the beginning of my hair journey. I would say after trying literally all of the collections... like ALL of them besides the grape seed collection because I became bougie lol the flaxseed is definitely a favorite. Out of all of her products, the main ones I recommend is the curl la la custard, the quench leave in, the flaxseed gel, the flaxseed sealing butter, the flaxseed max especially with the oil, the coconut collection except the cowash cause we don’t do that lol. I haven’t tried the products in since early 2019, but chile those are all the ones I’d try again.

I've only used the quench twice. 1st time was great no issues. 2nd time l used it with the AJ green shampoo l forgot the name but it literally stripped my hair dry!!! I had to use my argan oil and cream of nature leave in to get some moisture back into mt hair. Im so disappointed. Maybe l will try it again but for right now its no for AJ!!

Faye In The City ikr Us bougie naturals run this lol. I would say try it before you fully go bougie lol. AJ was good for me when I was trying to figure out my hair, and what moisture/ hold is. They’re affordable, and I wasn’t too mad if something didn’t work cause it wasn’t expensive. Then I found Camille rose, mielle when they were mielle lol, adowa, TMC the old lines that is, qhemet, NaturAll club, and my bae melanin haircare. I feel when you know how to use products, pay attention to formulations, how your hair absorbs and holds on to moisture, you’ll just want the good stuff. It becomes self care instead of a chore or science experiment.

Sarah Anderson a stripped feeling is bae for me, but that’s what I love. Idk which shampoo it was, cause the only true clarifying one they have is in the grapeseed collection, but your hair is your hair. Overall, a shampoo’s job is to clean, and I love it when it does!

I was waiting to hear your thoughts. I thought tried her curl boss gel and HATED IT. The consistency of the ‘gel’, was a grease. Like lady “do you know the difference between grease and gel?! Hunny this product is NOT a gel. It claimed strong hold. But NOPE! Once my hair dried, my hair looked like a cotton ball. No repurchase.the coconut in it didn’t agree with my skin.

The only AJ product I have tried is Knot on my watch detangler. That is bae! My hair detangles soooo easily, esp when its dry. This holds me down.

I used to use their shampoo and deep conditioner (blue one) early in my hair care journey. I've found products that work better though. I tried their quench leave in but went straight back to my as i am leave in straight after 😬.
