great storage tip, I regularly use dried peppers, i love them. I have them stored in several glass jars in my kitchen...useful and beautiful!

Lovely! We did this with our little cayennes one year. We can get huge peppers pretty cheaply at a local market so I'll have to remember this for next year.

Fun fact, I have very fond memories of my grandparents house around Christmas and seeing chili lights that mimic this look. I've never hung on a string as I always dehydrate to grind but next time I grow cayenne (this year coming up), I'll do this. I just love the look. Is that weird?
