Awesome! It will be spectacular. I can’t believe it shipped from California. It’s huge. 🌴

I know it's an old video... but it came by and was fun to watch. 😊 Always fun with such gifts from the mail. 😁 Nice to see where it has started from Tim 👍 Very nice specimen 👌

Hi there. Well this was fun for me too because I just posted a video on Instagram this morning of this palm and it is so much bigger. I can't believe the growth in two years. Amazing. And of course I love all of your palms so much. I wish you were my neighbor!

Incredible... Jubea Chilensis is on my list as well, and while I am growing a few seedlings my Butia x Jubea and Jubea x Butia are going to be where I get my in ground love. These are beautiful... congrats.

And it's doing really well in its winter box. Definitely my favorite palm so far

@@newyorktropicalgarden9364 I am 95% sabals here of all types but the three I have that will receive some basic protection during polar events are my Butia x Jubea, Jubea x Butia and one Butia I have. Although the butia has been left to its own devices even down to 10.6F over Christmas and while it spear pulled it’s already about to throw up a brand new spear. It has done this two years in a row. Beautiful palms! Maybe they’ll grow a nice chunky trunk before I leave this earth 🤣

@@sabalkingoftexas that's amazing. I have one big Sabal Palmetto I bought last year. It was supposed to be a regenerated one, but I ended up with a huricaine cut. It's still green but has not really grown. I am hoping it will take off this year. And I am probably getting another Sabal this spring. :)

@@wellspringgardens I was obsessed with getting a Chilean Wine Palm. Luckily 2 years later it’s doing great. But yes, shipping was not cheap

Great palm, i received a small one in the mail and it has grown a lot since. IMO, more cold wet Tolerant than a pure Jubaea.

A fantastic cross, far faster growing than pure Jub, plus very wind hardy👍

I really wanted a plain Jubea but I agree this is the better choice. Let's see how it does.

@@newyorktropicalgarden9364 search out JBxJ ends up looking like pure Jub, but many of the benefits of JxB, faster growing than Jub and more flexible when it comes higher humidity climate and hotter climate👍

It doesn't look like a hybrid

Well I'm trusting the seller but you never know. I think it looks good regardless. And I wanted the non hybrid but thought it might do better in my climate. I guess as it grows we will find out.
