Hello Scott and Jolly!! I really enjoyed this tour of the beautiful Chilhowee Campground. Isn't fall weather the best? It looks like you all had a gorgeous day there. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the cool, crisp mornings and the warm afternoons. I also love the lack of humidity. : ) We got enough rain here in Louisville this year for the leaves to actually change colors and not just turn brown, so we've gotten to see some pretty colorful trees. I'm behind again on watching your videos. (My house project is just taking so long). I do hope to get caught up on watching soon. I hope you all are staying healthy and safe. Please tell Sierra hello for me. Have a great rest of the week and take care!!

What a great looking campground. It's spread over a lot of acreage. The trees turing colors was wonderfull. That turn you showed to leave, what would be the longest fifth wheel and truck length would you guess would fit? Did the campground have a specific length they could accommodate? Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

Hi David :) it really is a great campground. they have a 90 ft limit so that is pretty big :D they are pretty spread apart as well so it is nice for privacy :) glad you enjoyed the video take care hope your having a great weekend

Awesome video, thanks. Heading there in a couple of weeks. I'm curious, did you pull your toad up to the CG or disconnect at the bottom of the hill?

My wife and I glamp at Chilhowee very frequently. It's our go-to weekend, or week long, get away. We now have a 28' travel trailer (bumper pull). The far side of Area B is our favorite. Area E (with 30A power) is our next choice. Coming out of Area A/B, if pulling a trailer, you CANNOT turn right safely, to go down to the dump station. You have to pull the trailer up to the top of the hill and turn around at the turn-around at the intersection of Forest Road 77, then go back down the hill. It's a minor inconvenience, but it doesn't come close to dissuading us from coming back to Chilhowee 4 or 5 times a year. Forest Road 77 (Oswald Dome Road), which is a 7-mile drive from US 64, is a nice, paved road and large rigs can easily be pulled up the mountain. First-timers to Chilhowee, do not let your GPS system send you up the mountain from Benton, TN. That unpaved road is rough, with a couple really tight switch-backs, and would be virtually impossibly to tow a rig up the mountain. Use Forest Road 77. It's a pretty drive anyway. Nice video. Thanks for doing it.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting. We're really enjoyed that campground and can't wait to go back someday. You are so right i am very thankful i called before going as to not use the gps directions. We checked out benton road in the car while we were there and your not kidding. That would have been a terrible ride. You are very fortunate to be near that beautiful campground. Take care and happy camping

Hi Scott 👋 and Jolly 👋. That's so awesome that you were able to use your Segways in the campground. It looks so relaxing. Those Segways really do a great job on the hills. We would definitely 👍 stay there if we had an RV. Smiles 😃, likes 👍 and subscribes are free...so true.
