Chili crab makes me so happy. Had it once and desperately want it again. My return trip to Singapore is fueled by chicken rice and chili crab. Now i know t try black pepper next time.

You should try both black pepper crab and white pepper crab 😋 It’s absolutely delicious . Way better than chilli crab .

There is also a white pepper crab and salted egg yolk crab. The most demanding but not appreciated by most is the clear steamed crab.

You're right about ketchup in the Jumbo chilli crab lol. I also prefer chilli crab sauce that's more chilli ish. Jumbo one is more tuned to general population plus touristy flavor

yes. i think curry crab is also a favourite though i think it is more of a thai creation. But when u eat the thai curry crab the mud crabs are pathetically juvenile.. like 300g per crab..so much smaller

The most "local" crab dish should be Crab Beehoon soup from Melben or Uncle Leong. The soup is outrageously good.
