I love Hoya. I have several Alocasia and found they need to be kept moist like Calathea so I’m working on moving Alocasia and Calathea to Pon. I want that dragons breath. Beautiful

Yes ma’am. I have found this to be true also. It seems to be whenever I repot them they just go haywire. It’s also finding the right spot and lighting. lol. There sooo fussy! 😂

Hello Shannon from PR!! Try repotting your Alocasias in Pon semi hydroponic. They love it!!

It would help with the right tool to open. I finally got myself a razor this past weekend now I just have to be careful and not cut myself or the plant! I love your little plants I like the idea of getting starters simply for them being small. I have been thinking about the Luxurian but it will be awhile I am on a “plant hold” for 4 weeks!

My Black Velvet did the same. I went from airy sole to water back to airy soil and it’s now giving me a new leaf. I am wondering if they don’t like that no drainage pots?

I actually think they do best in no drainage. At least for me. But, I only have like 3 that are alive lol. Seriously. I have tried so many methods. I can grow them from corm. I can get them looking nice and then it seems they just die once I repot. lol. I had a black velvet. They are so pretty!
